In Tetzaveh
The Key People is Moshe (Moses), with the LORD.
The Scenes is Har Sinai (Mount Sinai).
The Main Events include God continuing to instruct Moshe about Tabernacle service, including the eternal light, dressing the priests (Aharon and sons), consecrating them, how they should offer sacrifices, and how to make the altar of incense.
“Now this is what you are to offer upon the altar: two one-year-old lambs, each day, continually. You are to offer one lamb in the morning and the other lamb at dusk. Offer along with the first lamb a tenth of an ephah of fine flour, mixed with a fourth of a hin of beaten oil, and a fourth of a hin of wine as a drink offering. The other lamb you are to offer at dusk, like the grain offering and drink offering of the morning, as a sweet aroma, an offering made by fire to Adonai. It is to be a continual burnt offering throughout your generations at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting before Adonai. There I will meet with you, to speak with you there. I will meet with Bnei-Yisrael there. So it will be sanctified by My glory.
(Exodus 29:38-43 TLV)
The Haftarah
Then he said to me, “Son of man, thus says Adonai Elohim: ‘These are the statutes for the altar on the day when they will construct it, in order to offer burnt offerings on it and to sprinkle blood on it. Give a young bull for a sin offering to the Levitical kohanim who are from the offspring of Zadok, who come near to Me to minister to Me’”—it is a declaration of Adonai. “You are to take some of its blood and put it on its four horns, on the four corners of the ledge and on the border around it. So you will purify it and make atonement for it. Take the bull of the sin offering and burn it in the appointed place of the House, outside the Sanctuary.
(Ezekiel 43:18-21 TLV)
The Brit Chadasha
Through Yeshua then, let us continually offer up to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips giving thanks to His name. Do not neglect doing good and sharing, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
(Hebrews 13:15-16 TLV)
