Meditation
The Haftarah continues the theme that God comes personally to redeem Y’rushalayim, his abandoned bride, barren of children and suffering in exile. He calls upon Y’rushalayim to expand her tent and prepare for the return of many, many children. God swears an oath to never again be angry at or rebuke His people.
