Meditation
Yisra’el’s cumulative failings pile up sins, triggering God’s wrath. Hardening and partial blindness result (Leviticus 26:14-16; Deuteronomy 28:65; 32:28-29; Isaiah 6:9-13). In a response of sheer mercy, God pops the scales off the eyes of the elect (Acts 9:18). And one day… God promises to finish opening the eyes of “all Yisra’el!” (Romans 11:7-8,25).
